WestGrid is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to take on the role of Executive Assistant. The deadline to apply is Friday, June 14.

The Executive Assistant provides administrative support to the Senior Management Team of four executives. He/she works under minimal supervision to support a distributed and diverse team, using collaboration tools such as cloud-based documents and videoconferencing technologies. Candidate will be required to travel for meetings, mostly within Western Canada.

On Thursday, June 13, external network access to the Arbutus cloud will be interrupted for up to 30 minutes during a 1-hour network maintenance window from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (PDT). During this time, virtual machines on Arbutus will continue running.

Compute Canada's Cedar system will be unavailable on April 29, starting at 6:00 am (Pacific). This outage is necessary to complete electrical work that will allow us to expand Cedar in the future. We will also be upgrading the file system and the network (Omni-Path) drivers.
