Scheduled BCNET maintenance to impact Arbutus Cloud on January 12

On Sunday, January 12 between 6 am - 12 pm (PST) / 9 am - 3 pm (EST), the Arbutus/UVic network supplier BCNET will perform hardware and software upgrades on equipment that supplies external connectivity to Arbutus. Maintenance work is expected to require 20 minutes during which time instances will continue running but there will be no access from outside the Arbutus internal network.

Reminder:
There will also be scheduled Arbutus network maintenance on January 8. As part of the January 8 outage, external network access to the Arbutus cloud will be interrupted for up to 30 minutes during a one-hour network maintenance window from 7 pm - 8 pm (PST) / 10 pm - 11 pm (EST). During this time, virtual machines on Arbutus will continue running.
