Enter the CFI’s #IAmInnovation Twitter Contest to Showcase Your Research & Win
Calling all research students and post-docs — starting October 2, the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) wants to hear how working in state-of-the-art facilities and with cutting-edge equipment has helped you and your research.
Show how CFI-funded infrastructure has opened opportunities for you, by tweeting an image or video of how you work with CFI-funded equipment or in a CFI-funded research space. You must include the hashtags #IAmInnovation and #Contest to be eligible.
Have fun, get creative with your Twitter submission, and help the CFI tell all Canadians just how important it is to equip this country’s bright minds, such as yourselves, with the tools they need to think big and innovate.
Contestants can submit entries as of October 2, 2017, at 12:00 a.m. (eastern), until the contest closes on December 1, 2017, at 11:59 p.m. (eastern).
At the time of entry, Contestants must be either a full-time or part-time student (undergrad or graduate) or full-time or part-time post-doctoral fellow at a post-secondary institution in Canada that has previously received CFI funding, is nineteen (19) years of age or older, and in compliance with these contest rules and regulations. Proof of enrollment may be required after submission and before awarding the winners. However, a request for proof of enrollment is not an indication of winning; it may be used to confirm a Contestant’s eligibility to take part in the contest.
Winners will have a chance to take over the CFI’s @InnovationCA Twitter feed for a day, and receive an all-expenses paid round-trip to Ottawa for a special event.
