Data Visualization Workshop Coming to University of Alberta - OCT 23
University of Alberta researchers, students and staff interested in learning more about visualizing scientific data are invited to a free workshop WestGrid is hosting on Friday, October 23. The full-day workshop will introduce the basics of scientific visualization and explore the features and capabilities of the popular visualization software ParaView. All disciplines and experience levels are welcome to attend (you do not need to be a current WestGrid account holder to participate).

What Is ParaView?
ParaView is an open source, multi-platform data analysis and visualization application. ParaView users can quickly build visualizations to analyze their data using qualitative and quantitative techniques. Attendees will need to bring a laptop and should have ParaView installed on their laptop before the workshop. Wireless networking will be available during the workshop.
