7th International WHPC Workshop Seeks Presenters and Volunteers - Deadline Extended
Women in HPC (WHPC), a partner of Compute Canada's, is hosting a workshop at Supercomputing 2017 and is inviting submissions from women in industry and academia to present their work as a virtual poster. The deadline for submissions has been extended to Sunday, August 27.
Submissions are invited on all topics relating to HPC from users and developers. All abstracts should emphasise the computational aspects of the work, such as the facilities used, the challenges that HPC can help address and any remaining challenges etc.
Poster authors will have the opportunity to share their work with the workshop audience in a brief ‘elevator pitch’ talk. This is followed by a networking session where attendees will have the opportunity to view the posters and discuss the work.

- Names of any other authors and affiliations
- Abstract (up to 250 words)
- Objectives: impact and accomplishments of the work to be presented

WHPC is also seeking volunteer mentors to help our early career women prepare their poster material and lightning talks for the workshop and help them get the most out of the SC17 conference. We are looking for mentors at all career stages and will match mentors and early career mentees based on their current experience and the next step in their careers. If you are interested in getting involved, please email our Mentoring Chair Elsa Gonsiorowski.
