Collaboration Facilities at WestGrid

WestGrid has been involved in the development, expansion, and integration of a number of collaboration facilities (advanced videoconferencing rooms) across its partner institution sites.

These facilities are used for activities such as:

  • Distributed seminar series or research lectures
  • Meetings and collaborations amongst distributed research teams
  • Visualization and advanced computing demonstrations and tutorials
  • Local broadcasts of online webinars or virtual conferences
  • PhD defenses
