Compute Canada team member Megan Meredith-Lobay, (a Scientific Analyst, Digital Humanities and Social Sciences with Advanced Research Computing, UBC) is kicking off UBC IT's first-ever IT Summer Lectures, a free public lecture series where you can learn more about the important work UBC IT is doing on campus.

The Summer Lectures will take place over 4–5 consecutive weeks from August 15–September 12. Hear from UBC IT presenters on some of the innovative projects they’ve been leading, and the impact on campus and stakeholders. Speakers will draw upon their recent work presented at conferences such as CANHEIT and BCNET.
