Compute Canada Introductory Workshop

This workshop ntroduces Compute Canada and will give you the tools to use its computational resources in your own projects. This is a hands-on workshop so you must have a Compute Canada account to participate fully.

You will learn how to:

  • Remotely access clusters using your account
  • Submit jobs and monitor their progress
  • Estimate and allocate appropriate resources to complete your job
  • Perform trouble-shooting on the most frequent errors

 

Pre-Requisites

You must have a Compute Canada account as well as be comfortable with Unix command line to participate in this workshop.
